The Women's Alpha Core SL Base Layer is the perfect combination of warmth, breathability, and comfort. With Polartec Alpha-Direct insulation in the core and Continental mesh in the sides, it will keep you warm and dry in all conditions. The elastic-bound neck and arm-holes provide extra stretch and comfort - perfect for any outdoor activity. Enjoy warmth that lasts, and looks good too!

•Polartec Alpha-Direct insulation is recycled, warm, breathable, quick-dry and able to maintain it’s insulative properties when wet.
•Alpha-Direct is used in three-quarters of the front and back panels for targeted core insulation.
•Continental mesh is recycled, super light, stretchy and wicking.
•This mesh is used in the side panels and bottom quarter of the front and back panels to provide extra stretch and breathability to the base layer.
•Elastic-bound neck and arm-holes are soft and stretchy.

This product is comprised of two fabrics, the primary being Polartec Alpha-Direct insulation in critical areas, completed with our recycled Continental Mesh that is soft, stretchy and super breathable. We intentionally designed this piece as a sleeveless base layer to maximize it’s versatility. The core, your chest and back are comprised of primarily Alpha Direct insulation to provide an incredible amount of warmth where needed while leaving the rest of the garment breathable and lightweight.  

This garment can be used as a stand-alone base layer under any number of jerseys from our lightweight Summer jerseys paired with a lightweight vest of jacket for chilly morning rides, or worn under our Alpine or Storm+ Thermal LS Jerseys for an added boost of warmth. The sleeveless nature allows you to keep your core warm while allowing more ventilation and breathability in your arms. The Alpha Core SL Baselayer can even be worn on top of a SS or LS baselayer such as our Transfer C or Thermoregulator for a boost of warmth for the coldest rides.  

ALPHA® DIRECT INSULATION

By refining the shape and size of its lofted fibers, Alpha®Direct can be in direct contact with skin or other fabric layers. This new design ability increases breathable performance, expands versatile style options, and further reduces overall garment weight.
