Single layer, hexagonal mesh knit leg bands guarantee a slip-free fit while also allowing for moisture movement away from the skin. Using our proven Silhouette Articulation, the Stratos shapes your body perfectly in the riding position. The Cerami-K body fabric with ceramic particles bonded to the exterior, provides temperature regulation through heat dissipation. The ceramic bonded fabric also creates a new layer of protection against abrasion excessive wear and pilling. We've also incorporated MAB X Power Collection Bib Straps and MARC mesh leg bands to enhance light-weight and next-to-skin comfort of the Stratos bib.

The Alpine Thermal Bib Short is an excellent choice for fall and winter rides, early morning training or cold-weather commuting. Thermal bib shorts are perfect for riders who want thermal coverage throughout the thighs and rise but prefer the versatility of knee or leg warmers. We've also included two lightweight mesh pockets on both legs for easy access to glove liners, warmer packs, snacks or other necessities.
For enhanced visibility in low-light, winter conditions, we used durable, stretchy reflective applications in the form of hip logos and strips on the thighs. These reflective hits, while understated, have a far greater candle-power than previous thermal bib tight iterations (350+ lumens).

These thermal water repelling bibs have been designed specifically for chilly conditions where rain, drizzle and road spray may be present during your ride. They are ideal for conditions one would normally associate with the Pacific Northwest, but because of their excellent breathability and 3-season usability are also a great choice for rides or commuting in temperatures between 35 - 55° F. (We recommend pairing with knee or leg warmers for the lower temperatures in the range, especially if you tend to be more affected by chilly temps.)
We engineered them with a cozy, brushed fleece interior and a Durable Water Repellent (DWR-coated) exterior. For additional protection, we strategically paneled a 3-layer waterproof fabric that covers the lower-back and chamois areas (saddle touchpoints) exposed to cold road spray. For added safety in low-light, winter conditions we used super bright (350+ lumens) reflective logos and thigh strips (reflective in motion is ideal for optimal visibility).
